A great synopsis of home architecture from 1865. This is a superb reference, especially since I'm working on a project of that epoch.
I bought several books similar to this one, and this is my favorite by far. This book provides a very nice compilation of ideas / examples for all types of victorian-style construction details.
If you are into architecture and looking for ideas about building Victorian *anything*, this is the book you want!
Great reference series. I could spend hours flipping thru these. Looking at the various blueprints. And listed work orders for each structure. Highly recommended.
I would recommend this seller as great 5 stars I put in 5 stars and it came out as 1. The book is what I have looked for
An insightful little book on the construction of these beutiful homes. However it does lack complete floor plans. Otherwise a delight for those interested in architecture or this wonderful period.
